But nah, lets keep trudging out one of the worst starting QB's I have ever seen just....because.
Very interesting isn't it. This coaching staff can get 4-5* kids here to play football for Oregon, which is no easy task. We have no history, no tradition, we certainly are not Alabama, Notre Dame or USC. The weather sucks 90% of the year, its cold, dreary, we have no national championship trophy's in the case yet MC and company can talk some of the best players in the nation to come north to Eugene. Props to that, that is extremely difficult.

The issue is, once they are here, the coaching staff seems to have no clue whatsoever what to do with them. You have two 4-5* quarterbacks sitting on the bench behind a transfer from Boston College of all places who cannot seem to throw the ball beyond 10 yards, cannot spot open receivers streaking uncovered down the field, and when pressured throws bizarre jump passes that are easily intercepted.
Did I mention we have two quarterbacks who have combined for 172 touchdowns thrown in high school just watching the s*** show? They cannot see the field because, "They are not ready". They are not ready for what exactly? Our offense cannot even get a 1st down much less a touchdown. The entire Oregon offense had what, 60 yards at halftime? Is our coaching staff seriously stating they do not want to start TT or Butterfield because we would be "limiting our offense"? Limiting it to what? 55 yards of offense?
And if these kids on the bench are unable after 8 months of football to muster more then 60 yards of offense a half, why in the world did you recruit them in the first place?

Our coaches entire gameplan is less than a paragraph:
1. 3 yards and a cloud of dust.
2. If that doesn't work, QB run for 3 yards and a cloud of dust.
3. 3rd and 7? NO PROBLEM, quarterback checkdown for a 3 yard pass that gets stopped 4 yards short of a 1st down.
4. Punt

There it is!!!!

Halftime adjustments.
None needed. We will continue to do the same things we did in the first half and hope they work!!!!!
Turn around, glance at 5* quarterbacks sitting on bench when you have 60 yards of offense at the half. NO WORRIES. Send out the same quarterback, rinse/repeat the same gameplan.

Entire nation sits in stunned disbelief watching this debacle of an offense.
