Were is the option for "wildcat" QB/Slot WR/Big RB role? I don't think he will be limited to just one position and will be more of a multipurpose threat.

Re: Will Chris Harper...? [POLL]
Make him a running back: gets him the Heisman as a JR, gets him a first round draft pick, gess him millions, gets us a NC and has everyother 5 star running back linning up to come to the O following.
He is within a few pounds of Blount and is faster and shify-er (is that a word?). He is a sharp kid with tons of athletic ability and he would have 3 years in our backfield. For his sake as well as the O's MAKE HIM A RB!

If we do make him a running back, I don't see it happening this year with Blount, James, etc already here.

He will be good at WR or running back.. I'm sure our coaches will make the most logical determination of where he can be most optimaly used... /thread

Re: Will Chris Harper...? [POLL]
I hope C.Harper doesn't turn out like M.Lewis, he was a HS RB with 4.4 speed, and we've been wasting his talent at TE and H-Back.
What about making Harper a Free Safety to replace Chung?

Re: Will Chris Harper...? [POLL]
That's hilarious. I do have somewhat of a man crush on him & I think he will be a jack of all trades, Darren McFadden type. I wish he would move exclusively to RB though, he'd be a Heisman winner IMO. I voted #6.NCDucks09 wrote:Quick Poll Question for all of you Chris Harper Fans!

TFM, the correct wording would be either 'more shifty', or 'shiftier'.
Any way you put it, CH is far from 'shiftless', especially as he changes gears and heads for the end-zone!

I tried typing shiftier, it just looked French to me, so I opted for good'ol SEC spelling.woundedknees wrote:TFM, the correct wording would be either 'more shifty', or 'shiftier'.

Re: Will Chris Harper...? [POLL]
Hopefully the coaches talk to Chris (if they haven't already ) and explain to them just how big of a role he will have in this offense. His versatility is unmatched and should see time at RB/WR/QB in a Darren McFadden type role (MB quote a while back) and that should get him pretty excited! Now why on earth he'd want to go back to Kansas St and play for a pretty average team that has no real chance of winning anything is beyond me and why I believe these are rumors and he would have no real interest in doing it. But I do understand that he might find UO more on the boring side and once he puts his priorities in order he will realize that UO is better for his future!
