Great news. I don't mind kids leaving for their missions, I know they usually come back better, more mature MEN. My only worry was he wouldn't be back.

certainly good news and it will help as well get the team under the 85 scholarship limit as well.

I would actually argue that the opposite happens. There aren't to many kids who go on a two year mission and then come back better. Most, if not all of them, regress, and actually cost themselves any shot of playing at the next level.

You missed my point. They come back better more mature MEN, not football players. Obviously taking 2 years off is not going to make you a better football player.

2 years from now, we might have a stud at center and Stevens might not start or play much at all. I guess that's the chance one takes.
