Ducks in Europe
The men win their first game: http://registerguard.com/rg/sports/3472 ... n.html.csp
Nice to see Ennis, Bigby-Williams, Pritchard and Smith playing significant roles.
Women are headed to Europe as well, btw: http://registerguard.com/rg/sports/3472 ... p.html.csp
Incredible to think how young the Duck women are. This European trip comes at a great time because of all the new players. I won't be surprised if the Ducks make the NCAA Tourney this season, but look out for next season.

Ennis with a nice line. Still can't believe we get Dorsey and Brooks for another year.

Re: Ducks in Europe
Basically four new faces scoring in double figures. That's really impressive, even if it's an exhibition game against a Spanish team.Greenblood wrote:The men win their first game: http://registerguard.com/rg/sports/3472 ... n.html.csp

Duck men now 2-0 on their trip: http://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/index.s ... iver_index and http://registerguard.com/rg/sports/3472 ... e.html.csp. Good to see "new" faces Bigby-Williams, Ennis and Pritchard continue to shine. Guess we also have these guys named Dorsey and Boucher, too.

Ducks easily win their third game on this trip: http://registerguard.com/rg/sports/3473 ... n.html.csp.
Nice stats for Pritchard and Ennis in this one.

Re: Ducks in Europe
Here's the brief RG story on the Duck men finishing up their Spain tour. Dorsey and Boucher continue their solid play. More good lines for Ennis and Pritchard. Nice to see Cage get some boards. 40-of-59 shooting?? That's 68%.
Oregon completed an undefeated exhibition tour of Spain with a 109-66 win over Tarragona on Tuesday.
Tyler Dorsey had 24 points on 9-of-12 shooting as Oregon shot 40-of-59 from the field. Chris Boucher had 17 points and 10 rebounds for Oregon while Payton Pritchard had 10 points and eight assists and Dylan Ennis added 10 points and seven assists.
Jordan Bell and Kavell Bigby-Williams each had 13 points while Roman Sorkin added 11. Freshman M.J. Cage had nine rebounds.
After winning all four games on the trip, the Ducks fly home on Wednesday.

Re: Ducks in Europe
That's insane. It would be nice to be able to compare the talent level to a team in NCAA though so I'd have an idea. But I'd assume most these teams wouldn't even be division 1a?Greenblood wrote:Here's the brief RG story on the Duck men finishing up their Spain tour. Dorsey and Boucher continue their solid play.
