Were down 5 with 17.8 seconds left.

Just what they needed.

Amazing series of events. Seemed dead in the water after the foul call that put Cal at the line with 4 seconds left.

Ionescu is the real deal! Her absence with the injury was the main reason they had that string of loses in league. If this team can up their defensive intensity to the level of that Cal game ending, they will be formidable going forward!

Just so nice watching the Duck players on the bench going crazy with every comeback basket, including the steal. Great photo on the GoDucks site (http://www.goducks.com/news/2017/1/8/wo ... t-win.aspx) of especially Ionescu right after her game-winner.

Now they'll have a little momentum as they continue on the road at the LA schools, with USC ("32nd" in the new AP poll) on Friday and UCLA (17th) on Sunday, both on P12N.

SI had a less than stellar night shooting but probably due to her thumb injury. Having said that she certainly was nails at the end of the game. Hopefully the team can use this as a springboard to finishing the season strong.
