Where will Oregon be ranked?

6 of the top ten teams lost today. I think around 8th.

Yeah I was gonna say about 8 too. Hopefully UCLA is one spot above us, giving these guys some extra motivation to try hard again. It's become clear effort is the issue for these guys in certain games (Colorado, Arizona St, parts of Wazzu game). They seem to get a little sloppy and careless at times when they think they're the best.

+++1.Unfortunately, I'm thinking we'll probably get moved to 6. Was hoping for a later season jump to get us a 1 or 2 seed.Let's hope you're right and I'm wrong!

If Oregon's not ranked in the Top 5 after that performance (combined with their overall body of work), then we might as well get rid of the polls.

Yeah I was figuring in the ESPN/east coast bias when I said 8th.

Well we played early enough and on a big network so I hope the whole nation saw what Oregon is capable of.

I see the following ranking:

1. Gonzaga
2. Villanova
3. Louisville
4. ???
5. ???

Any guesses for a top 5 or 10?

Was not expecting that big of a jump. Expected more around 7 or 8.

5th AP, 6th in the coaches poll. Higher than I thought. I guess having an afternoon game where all the east coasters could watch us actually play for the first time made an impression.

Great that they're getting national respect. Oregon has become the top 5 team everyone thought they'd be in the preseason. Just hope it doesn't go to their heads and result in poor performances in Los Angeles.

With Louisville going down last night to UVA and KU struggling against KSU after a loss we could easily jump up to #3 with a sweep this weekend.
