Duquesne freshman looking to transfer
Oregon has offered him. Kid looks like an ideal fit for our system:

From Canada too. Not sure we have the room though, or if Altman wants a guy that will sit out a year.

A spot would open up if Bell leaves, but I believe we are already after that guard transfer from New Mexico. Mike would also have to sit out a year, but Altman is obviously thinking down the road.

Re: Duquesne freshman looking to transfer
With the way Altman is looking more at grad transfers instead of underclassmen transfer, the more I think he's looking for room in the 2018 class for all the talented guys they're after.

Re: Duquesne freshman looking to transfer
He has to sit out a year and has 3 years of eligibility. We could definitely use him considering the only big men we would have on the roster would be a MJ Cage (SO) and Paul White (SR).duck541 wrote:From Canada too. He looks really good. I would definitely want him.
Lots and lots of turnover from last years team, apparently. Such is the nature of college basketball.

Except he'd be sitting out next season due to transfer rules and wouldn't really have an impact until the 2018-19 season.Phenom wrote:He looks really good. I would definitely want him.

I'm still OK with that. He looks really impressive in those highlights and with some good coaching, I don't doubt he could do good things here. Kinda reminds me of a bigger Carlos Emory.greenyellow wrote:Except he'd be sitting out next season due to transfer rules and wouldn't really have an impact until the 2018-19 season.Phenom wrote:He looks really good. I'd rather they save a spot for the 2018 class since Oregon is in good position with a lot of guys.UOducksTK1 wrote:I'm still OK with that. I'm good with whatever Dana Altman wants to do player wise. He's not to bad at it...

He looks really good. How was he not a big time recruit? How did he end up at Duquesne? Game reminds me of Elgin Cook his last 2 years...Looks like a competitor who attacks hard...
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."
