PG - Ridnour (slight edge over AB)
SG - Joe Young (loved Freddie, but Young was the better college player)
SF - Luke Jackson (I don't think theres even a close 2nd)
PF - Arsalan Kazemi (He's the best defensive player that I've seen at UO)
PF/C - Jordan Bell (Would have had a huge senior year if he chose to came back :( )
Brooks is close.
Kazemi and Bell would clog up the paint.
Agreed about Young
Don't disagree about Ridnour and I love AB. He didn't live up to his potential til later in his career.

Looked up hairstons vert at the NBA combine, and it was 30.5, and he measured in at under 6'5.

Yeah Kazemi is an ideal college forward. Will clog that paint and rebound for days.

Brooks is becoming underrated and he just left. lol There were talks of him being the best Duck ever before the NCAA tourney. He has a below-average tournament and now he can't even make the first team? Ridiculous.

Mine would be, (and no I didn't see all these guys play) PG Aaron Brooks Sr year, Terrell Brandon(once called the best player in the NBA by SI) together they would be lethal, Dillan Brooks, Stan Love, Jordan Bell. With Altman as coach. Yeah the guards would be small, but good luck staying in front of them.

Yup. It was between him and Ron Lee on 247.

dang. i should make my way to 247 and ruffle feathers there.

i don't hate dillon, i really don't. i'm glad he was a duck. but i also don't happen to think what he did was better this year at our interior forward position than elgin cook was last year, nor do i think he was the best player on the team this year (that'd be bell, in my opinion). i also don't know what makes him so clearly ahead of other standout G/F's we've had. leaving malik hairston out of the conversation after that stunning combine vert revelation, what'd dillon do that luke jackson didn't?

seems to me (CONTROVERSIAL OPINION COMMENCE) that he gets the joey harrington treatment, ie being the biggest name during the golden age of a certain sport. now, i love me some joey harrington -- we should all love us some joey -- but i could name 8-9 better quarterbacks to come through here. if you're building your all-time oregon football team (this argument is less relevant now that mariota won his heisman and pretty much killed the debate, but i heard it for YEARS prior to marcus) and you have joey harrington as your quarterback, you've failed.

Okay, I heard, read some folks supporting Brooks in that comparison, but for the most part they were people who'd not seen Lee play, and if that is your reason for taking Brooks, than I can understand it. But straight up, I'm grasping to see any criteria where Brooks over Lee makes sense.

It's definitely a more traditional line up. I don't think you could put Dillon Brooks there though. He's obviously the better offensive player, but Kazemi was dominant on defense. Kazemi was playing chess when everyone else was playing checkers.

i can come up with 7 that i've been alive to see. the 8-9 come in when people start dropping names like fouts and van brocklin. they're probably spot-on, but i have a rule prohibiting me from listing them.

adams
mariota
thomas
dixon
clemens
akili
musgrave

I have seen every qb from Fouts to present..here is how i would rank them.. this isnt done
in any scientific way. I kinda look at who was more valuable to the team they were on.
1. Mariota No contest
2. Dixon
3. Akili great talent...but a head case at least in college
4. Joey and Adams tie
5.Thomas
6. Musgrave not the most gifted but a very smart qb.
7. Chris Miller... very adequate passer
8. Fouts
9. Reggie Ogburn great option qb
10. Clemens put him at tenth as i over looked him...should be a few spots higher

and these are my own personal rankings....
