MiKyle McIntosh Edit: QUACK!
MM just announced he will return to college as a grad transfer. UCLA seemed like a likely landing spot, but with Welsh and Holiday both returning to school, he is looking at other options...starting with Eugene. It seems as if Altman is still looking for the 6'7" SF to round out this team. This probably indicates that Altman is not confident that he is going to land Bowen or Johnson, which most people have already been speculating.

Re: MiKyle McIntosh
Can't ever hurt to have more experienced depth. Hos low shooting percentages, high turnovers, and high foul rate are a little bit of a concern, but it could just be a result of playing around less talent.
And yeah, I'm not holding my breath on Johnson or Bowen.

Re: MiKyle McIntosh
Obviously not as exciting as Bowen or Johnson, but would be a pretty nice alternative. We're still really thin inside either way if Kavell leaves, but this kid has some muscle. I've seen people comparing him to Elgin Cook in terms of physical ability and aggression. Like TK1 said, the TOs and shooting percentages aren't encouraging, but he looks like a really long, freakishly athletic guy. At the very least he looks like he'd be a solid role player.
FWIW, draftexpress lists his measurements from 2012 (when he was 17-18 years old) at 6'4.75 tall without shoes with a 6'10 wingspan. I'm assuming he's grown a little since then, but even if he hasn't, those are pretty solid measurements for someone so athletic. Here's a pretty cool video I've seen floating around of him from his HS days:

He's Canadian. I wouldn't mind it at all. Would be good depth to have. Would still like a bigman if KBW leaves.

Re: MiKyle McIntosh
I would really like to land this kid. From what I've heard KBW is still as good as gone. This kid kind of reminds me of Cook but with a bigger wingspan. We still need some beef in the post but my guess is McIntosh and White could do a decent job.

Illinois State grad transfer MiKyle McIntosh will visit Oregon today, per a source. Has also visited Oklahoma. Immediately eligible.

So he'll play the 4 in our system...nice.
Just need a 5 or KBW to stay.

He's a good pickup. He flirted with leaving early for the NBA ( wouldn't have been drafted) but he should come in similarly to a Mike Moser at least

Great pickup!
Between MiKyle McIntosh, Keith Smith, Troy Brown, and Abu Kigab, Oregon has an abundance of versatile 6'7" guys. Where does McIntosh fit into the lineup? I imagine Pritchard, Brown, and Brown will be the starting 1/2/3. Is McIntosh the first off the bench? Or a starting 4?

Yeah, it'll be either White or McIntosh at the 4. Wooten off the bench.
5 is the scary thought. Sorkin and Cage could be our only options if KBW leaves.
