You can say that again. Portland State is #1 in the country in turnover margin (Ducks are #179, so this doesn't bode well), #2 in steals and #7 in scoring offense. They press all game long...forcing turnovers and easy baskets. If the Ducks are unorganized in this game, it could get ugly.Phenom wrote:Won't be easy.

Depends on which team shows up.....this team has looked unstoppable at times and other times has looked like one of the teams from the early 90s (when I was in school). What else would you expect from a bunch of new faces?
There is some serious talent on this team...Altman will get them moving in the right direction. In the meantime, enjoy the ride of getting pounded a few times by teams we should not lose to and winning a few games we have no business winning.

I'll start with the obvious, it's very important that the Ducks get off to a good start, and I hope that comes from ball movement and creating easy shots and not a player hitting a 3 and the others joining in. Huge discrepancy in fouls that the Ducks can correct with more aggressive play offensively.

Ducks -13 should be a good game. Portland St. gave Duke and Butler games in the PK80 and beat Stanford.

It makes it difficult to enjoy ducks games when the refs are so involved.

Much better first half performance, especially with their offense. So far, they have 16 assists on 18 made baskets. Let's see if they can keep this up.

One of the better halves defensively for the Ducks so far this season, and have not been particularly bothered by PSU's pressure. Still too many 3's for my liking, though in this case the percentage is making it a positive. At one point PSU had more offensive rebounds than Oregon had overall. Oregon did better on the boards during the 15-4 run to end the half. Troy Brown Jr. needs 4 rebounds and 5 assists for a triple double.

Who are these amateurs watching a replay and determining that was a flagrant?

Really sloppy half for both teams. Seems like there's a turnover every 3-4 possessions.

Canda for PSU has been killing them this half.

Oregon is going to pull off the win against a very good PSU team. They need to really clean up all the turnovers and fouls still.

Oregon wins 96-84. Elijah Brown led the team with 22 points while Payton Pritchard and Kenny Wooten had 18 points each. Troy Brown came up one assist shy of a triple-double.
