Really needed this win. Wooten is madman. Hopefully they will be ready for conference play.

Man, should have watched this instead of the bowl game. I was really encouraged after the way they hung on against a really good PSU team, glad to see they're building on that.

Kinda surprised we won. Nice to see our senior transfers step it up finally.

The only gripe I have is we now need to clear out on plays and give Wooten the ball down low. He has proven to be excellent down low with back to basket.

They said something about him having a bad dream and then hitting the night stand. Truth is stranger than fiction. Not sure which one that story is.

When he's against guys like Metu/Ayton ..he's not at that level yet..but against teams like ASU/WSU, who don't have good bigs, then yeah, for sure.brich75 wrote:The only gripe I have is we now need to clear out on plays and give Wooten the ball down low. It's amazing how far he's come since even game 1 on defense.

Agreed, hope he sticks around a couple years and devolopes a little more. Him and Bol Bol together next year would be a spectacular forceGrantDuck wrote:When he's against guys like Metu/Ayton ..he's not at that level yet..but against teams like ASU/WSU, who don't have good bigs, then yeah, for sure.brich75 wrote:The only gripe I have is we now need to clear out on plays and give Wooten the ball down low. He definitely has a similar upside to Jordan Bell. Don't forget that Jordan was basically a redshirt. He can certainly develop more but he is doing all of the little things. More than anything I like Wooten's demeanor. He seems focused like few freshmen are.brich75 wrote:Agreed, hope he sticks around a couple years and devolopes a little more. Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."
