With each passing season, I always think the officiating can’t get worse. Then games like tonight happen.

Pritchard with two FTs to keep it a two-possession game.

Big win on the road. Needed this one after the OSU loss. Don't have to worry about having an 0-2 roadtrip.

I'm glad for the win, obviously, but that was a disgusting, yet completely expected, officiating display. ASU had an incredible advantage at the line thanks to the officials, with no real reason for it. Oregon had a 38-16 points in the paint advantage, way more shot attempts (64-47) and somehow shot less than half the FTs. Just makes the win that much sweeter.Duck24 wrote:With each passing season, I always think the officiating can’t get worse. Then games like tonight happen.

It seemed like once ASU got in the Bonus that they got every Charmin call possible. Was a good win for them in that environment.

Great win. A lot of guys stepped up big time. Happy for Sorkin, dude can shoot when we need that type of offense.

Re: Oregon @ Arizona State (Thursday 7 PM FS1)
If I was Altman, I’d be writing a blank check to the PAC-12 to pay for the fine I would be getting for going off on the refs post game. I’m sure the other Pac-12 coaches would gladly help defray those costs to him because they have to feel the same way. Oregon dominated points in the paint but were outshot at the FT line by 17. Something is wrong with that. Glad we got the win but it’s exhasting having to watch Pac-12 refs in any sports officiate.

Re: Oregon @ Arizona State (Thursday 7 PM FS1)
Very impressive win, as DT=DD mentioned the free throw discrepancy was unbelievable, and yet the Ducks won by hitting from the line down the stretch while the Sun Devils choked. Sorkin had his best game as a Duck, 13 points on 5-8 from the floor in 13 minutes, also some tough defense and rebounds. Elijah Brown played one of his better floor games, a big 3 at the end of the first half, and key free throws at the end.

Re: Oregon @ Arizona State (Thursday 7 PM FS1)
4 of Oregon's 14 FT attempts only happened because ASU was intentionally fouling at the end so it's even worse than the box score shows. You do wonder why more coaches don't go on officiating tangents post game.
