Francis Okoro is a Duck!!!!

Post by UOducksTK1 »

Big visit. There's a chance he reclassifies into this year's class. Imagine him and Williams with what we already have. Would be wild!

Sounds like it's a Missouri, Oregon, and Illinois battle.

Frontcourt and backcourt depth, ridiculous!

Prehm put his crystal ball in for Okoro, he seems confident in Oregon's chances.

Okoro will still visit Purdue, so gotta wait until then.

I think ideally we finish with Okoro, Williams, and a transfer wing who can shoot the ball.

Okoro may end up at Purdue, but would love to have him as a Duck.

edit: Prehm, who has shown to be pretty connected on hoops(outside of McCoy, which befuddled everyone), seems to think good thoughts on this one for ORegon.

I think McCoy got a bag of loot.

Visiting Purdue. Matt is pretty confident we land Okoro. Would be massive news.

Might be deciding sometime this week. Lots of crystal balls coming our way yesterday. Things looking good for the Ducks.

Specific to next year's team, Okoro would be just as big as Williams would have been. We lost our best 2 rebounders. Wooten and Bol are many amazing things, but great rebounders aren't what they are. Hopefully Kenny will improve there, like Jordan Bell did later in his career, BUT Okoro being a 3rd true big would be great for us and he can absolutely go get rebounds.

The last piece would be a JuCo or a 5th year that can play the wing and shoot a high % from 3.

Yup Okoro would actually fill a very important need. And Exactly, all we need next is someone who can shoot 3s and defend the perimeter.

Sounds like he's deciding tonight at 9 PM (Not sure if CST or EST).
