Ducks lose scrimmage to KState

Just a scrimmage, but Wooten only had one rebound in almost 22 minutes...Terrible, especially being that KState didn’t shoot great. Stats provided via Twitter imbedded in the link. Richardson did not play. Game was in Denver.

Not sure why Richardson didn't play. Bol is a so/so rebounder, so yeah if him and Wooten play together, Kenny needs to be big on the boards.

According to ScoopDuck, Richardson supposedly has a stress fracture in his foot or leg so he's out for almost a month.

well, f***.

That's 2 of our top 7 until at least December and 2 of our better scorers.

VJ and Amin going to need to step up and we'll need to win games with defense.

75-70 loss ain’t a bad loss. I’ll take it.

With the amount of injuries they have and the likely unusual substitution patterns Altman was using, it's not a completely bad result.

We shot pretty terrible from 3 and still lost by 5 in Denver against a possible top 10 team. We were also missing probably our 2nd and 3rd best shooters.

Exhibitions are hard to tell too much, but that is sort of the silver lining point of view.

We're in October with a young roster and a coach who has a high level of expectations. We good.

KSU is ranked 12 and basically returns an entire roster that made a sweet 16 run last season. No harm in losing by 5 to them out of the gate in a scrimmage.
