Chandler Lawson deciding tomorrow Edit: QUACK!

Sounds like it's down to Oregon and G-tech. He will be announcing and signing tomorrow, which is the first day to sign in the early period.

We seem to be on the inside track. GY is hesitant because he has two brothers at Kansas, one of whom may be a late 2nd round pick. The other brother doesn't play much. Cassius Stanley also seems to be leaning our way as well and while both would be great, we need 1 for sure.northbeachsf wrote:That is the first time I have heard that name. Do we have a legit shot?

An avalanche of crystal balls over the past few days have come in for us, which is usually a pretty good sign.

247 lists him as committed to us already. Haven't seen confirmation elsewhere.

Looks like he was a little early but it's good news for Oregon:

Re: Chandler Lawson deciding tomorrow
Gonna be honest, when he visited us, I thought he was one of the more unlikely official visitors to pull the trigger because it seemed like his visit was a bit of a tag along. Guess not! Glad to be wrong.
Welcome Lawson! He's a pretty good shooter and passer for his size. And ironically, he's not the most athletic or a big banger down low. His game will be a little unique in the sense he's not a Wooten or Okoro or Norris. He's got better handles and vision than most those guys, but he isn't as athletic as Wooten, nor as gathered down low as Okoro. Altman does a really good job of taking advantage of stretch forwards' unique skills. Excited to have him on the team.

In fairness, I'm not sure I've ever seen a Duck basketball player quite as athletic as he is. His hops are just astounding.UOducksTK1 wrote:he isn't as athletic as Wooten
