Nov 16 (Fri) 1:30 PM PT
vs Syracuse
TV: ESPN2

Ducks look to get at least one win in NYC in a matchup many thought would be the championship game of this tournament.

Make your 3s against the zone and rebound or get blown out.

Looks like the zone defenses for both teams causing problems for the offenses.

Pretty cool that they had on Todd Frazier, a baseball nobody, to talk over the game. I mean, I really don't care about anything Todd Frazier has to say, but thanks ESPN.

Pritchard has been making some bad passes toady. Trying to force things into tight windows or making lazy ones on the wing.

Edit: Not just Pritchard making them as Bailey and posts have been making bad passes.

After those first two games I thought Pritchard was going to make an upperclassman leap and become one of those steady forces that a good team needs. It's beginning to look like that may not happen.

Edit: He goes for six straight points after this post.

Oregon closes the half on a 12-0 run. Not a bad way to close the half. Have to keep the intensity on defense up.

First time seeing Bol Bol play. Wow. He is so quick for 7'2" and he can shoot, block shots and rebound. Who was rated higher than him coming out of HS?

Well that was certainly exactly the way we all planned that end to the half! Defense leading to easy offense. Will be interesting if Cuse can beat our press in the 2nd.

Such a legit block by Wooten but of course, they chose to neglect to show a replay of the controversial call instead to show a replay of a play a couple of possessions before. This kind of telecast coverage has become the norm, but it didn't used to be this way.

Bol having a great game with 24 points and at least 3-4 blocks. Believe they also said he had 9 rebounds so he's looking at another double-double.

Wooten just posterized someone on a lob from Pritchard.

It was a pleasure to watch this team regress back to the mean and look competent as a team. Lots of pouting after the Iowa game. This victory may look pretty good by the end of the season. ;)
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."
