Without Bol Bol or Wooten, this is gonna be a challenge. Boise isn't very good, but on the road we aren't very good.

This would be a great time for Richardson and King to figure things out and for Altman to adjust the offensive scheme to work around those guys better.

Time for Okoro to shine and I think he can. He brings a power to the front court and I think this team will actual perform better with him in.

Hard to think anyone, even collectively, can replace Bol. Why would he jeopardize his NBA career? He is done. Not seeing this season being one of their better ones. Not seeing the NCAA tournament. Another season of what if? Can’t blame Altman, but will probably end so much worse than everyone hoped for. A good blueprint for a team that relies on two one and done freshmen to take them to the next level. Better have a seasoned, capable, experienced bench, which they obviously don’t have. This will be painful. Won’t even get close to expectations. Even OSU will be a dogfight.

Ugly start for both teams. Even worse for Oregon is Okoro has 2 fouls already and Norris has 3 and they're only about 8 minutes into the game.

Okoro has two fouls and Norris has 3. Without Bol and Wooten, this team is unwatchable.

Now White has 2 fouls. They may have to go extra small and play King as the post with how little depth they have now.

Injuries have hurt for sure but we still have good players and talent, the offense shouldn’t be this terrible with who they have.Everythingsducky wrote:Injury-wise.OregonFan4Life wrote:Why can’t anyone blame Altman?Everythingsducky wrote:Hard to think anyone, even collectively, can replace Bol. Oregon down 21-24 at halftime. Both teams are struggling to get any real offense going with nearly half of Boise's points coming from the FT line.

The offense is such a mess in so many ways, it truly is hard to watch. This weave is run at a snail’s pace, the PG brings the ball down so darn slowly, nobody has a midrange game so while we have players who can get to the hoop they run straight into a crowd, and there’s 0 movement and energy. Makes me wonder what’s going on in practices. They seem confused and miserable on offense. It feels so long ago when Brooks, Dorsey, and Ennis ran the weave at lighting speed that not even the best 3-2 zone could stop.

They don't even have enough scholarship players to go 5-on-5 so they've had to use their walk-ons more and also had to resort to using the coaches to fill in during those periods. They're reportedly going to have more walk-on tryouts as soon as school starts up again just so they have enough warm bodies to practice.
