We just don't have great guards, but we are long and tall, so DA is coaching them to their strengths. Winning with D, isn't always the most fun to watch or pretty, but it's effective when the team buys in.
Altman’s teams also thrive with a great point forward who plays at the top of the key and directs the team in between the zone defense. Elgin cook, Dillon brooks were so vital in that role. Or superhero ball with joe young. Bol could have played that and more but we are just missing that extra lift from a guy who can take over.
The current team, + Bol, would have been a joy to watch.
Autzen Stadium... Where great teams go to die...Hard!

What a fabulous victory! It's hard for me to overstate it within the context of this particular season.

Everything -- EVERYTHING -- was set up for a UW celebration: UW at home, a raucous crowd, senior night with the four seniors who were so instrumental in turning around the program, the chance to remove all doubt about getting into the Dance, the hated Ducks in town. It's also hard to overstate how disappointed the Husky faithful who attended the game must have been.

I've attended 2-3 Ducks' men's losses in Seattle; you really need to play with poise to win there. Couldn't be happier with the Ducks.
