Pritchard Declares For The 2019 Draft

Post by mattc94 »

Payton Pritchard is going to test the waters in the draft. Have to say I am not surprised given what he said after the tournament run was over. Still don't see a team picking him unless it's late second (if at all.)

Mr. Anthony I hope you notice a spot has opened... ;)

Do note that players can do this and then decide to return to school if they withdraw by May 29.

It's a smart move to declare and get feedback, then make a final decision based on what is learned in the process.

Doesn't mean he's gone, just that he's going to get some feedback from teams. He can withdraw from the process anytime before late May. Doesn't really change things imo.

While I get the sarcasm, if he was somehow a 2nd rounder and made a roster as even the last guy on the bench. He'd make more in 1 year than Sabrina will in 5+ years as a WNBA all star and MVP.

According to the source, Bol is a lock to sign with an agent and remain in the NBA Draft. King is likely going to remain in the NBA Draft after signing with an agent.

"Kenny, he's more than likely going to come back next season and Pritchard is expected back for his senior season," said the source.
Source (Prehm)

I've had a bad feeling about King because of the rumors about class attendance, this just makes me more pessimistic. We'd absolutely need a new scorer to emerge.

That's a long shot. PG is probably the deepest position in the NBA.

I've got no problem with Lou because he busted his ass on the court and fought through that ankle injury. Troy Brown was just flat lazy sometimes.

I think he should come back if he's not a 1st rounder, he'd be a possible lottery pick next year and that's worth the $..the exposure you get at major college basketball is 10X that of the G-League.....but if school just isn't for him, then it's not for him.

He'll come back. Pritchard probably wouldn't get drafted if he entered.
