That heart! Awesome to see!
We really need Dante to matchup with these bigger teams.

Hell of a game. Seton Hall is a good and aggressive team. Pritchard struggled and they still came out on top. Walker still has a lot of room to grow, but he had some really good moments. Great game.

This team has heart for sure. Lots of dumb mistakes, terrible free throw shooting, yer they battle and battle and pull it off I. The end

Didn’t think they could make the comeback but so glad to be wrong! Wow. They better figure out the free throw shooting or it will lose them games at some point.

On a side note, CJ Walker was close to a couple huge dunks.

Walker is fearless at the rim, it's my favorite part of his game.brich75 wrote:On a side note, CJ Walker was close to a couple huge dunks.

As Jack Buck said a long time ago, "I can't believe what I just saw!". The comeback midway through the first half; then SH blitzes them at the start of the 2nd, get down by 19...and win! Like every body has noted, the Ducks didn't even play very well, so many missed FT's. But, they rebounded, and never let getting behind change their play. These Ducks are tough from start to finish

This felt like a Sweet 16 type of game.
Pritchard shut down Powell down the stretch and powell was really trying lol he got selfish there and it cost them.

Starting to see why Oregon was ranked so highly. They probably played one of their worst games and still got the win against a legitimate top-15 team. Can only imagine what this team looks like further down the season and likely with Dante.

Amazing to come from 19 down, crazy. Dante will hopefully provide a huge interior boost. Ducks are going to need to find someone that can lead this team next year. Pritchard is almost irreplaceable. Haven’t felt this way since Ridnaur. Does Richardson have the chops? In this day and age, whom will take the reigns? So much young talent, but this team would be nowhere without Pritchard.

I'm in shock. What an incredible display of grit by the Ducks. Can't wait to see them match up with Gonzaga. Pritchard should do that shot-pass move more often lol

Gonzaga’s frontcourt was down two players essentially the entire game. The Zags’ starting backcourt of Admon Gilder and Ryan Woolridge limped to the bench during the second half.
The game itself was no problem as the eighth-ranked Zags cruised past Southern Miss 94-69 Wednesday in the opening round of the Battle 4 Atlantis in Paradise Island, Bahamas.
The growing injury list was another matter.
Senior forward Killian Tillie watched from the bench. He’s experiencing soreness in his surgically repaired knee. It wasn’t immediately known if he’ll play Thursday. Tillie played in Gonzaga’s last two games and averaged 14 points.
Three Zags departed with injuries during the contest, beginning with freshman forward Anton Watson leaving with a right foot or ankle injury in the opening minute. Watson, who returned to the starting lineup in place of Tillie, landed on the foot of a Golden Eagles player after attempting a shot in the lane.
Senior guard Admon Gilder scored eight points in the first half, but he was limping noticeably at the outset of the second half. He played less than one minute and headed for the bench after committing a foul. He’s dealing with a sore right knee.
With just under 7 minutes remaining, Woolridge came up hobbling after driving into the lane. He stayed in for another possession on defense and offense before limping to the sideline, favoring his right leg.
There was no word on the status of Watson, Gilder and Woolridge for Thursday’s game. The level of competition will increase significantly with the Zags (7-0) facing No. 11 Oregon or No. 13 Seton Hall. The Ducks and Pirates played in Wednesday’s late game.

Yeah! I wonder if he got credit for an assist. Beaten 2 top 15 teams this year. Top 10 team tomorrow. Should be toughest game so far.OG Duck wrote:I'm in shock.
