Great D to end the game. And Pritchard was balling in the 2nd half.
Refs stink.

Defense was crap today, but we shot well.
Hard to play defense with those refs though. Like Dillon Brooks said, he didn't play much D in college because Pac-12 refs called everything a foul. In NBA he's been a good defender.

The referees likely are trained by the same fools at the same facility as are the football officials.

All those mistakes down the stretch might be a silver lining in the long run. You get the win while also having a bunch of teaching moments on film so that the same mistakes are (hopefully) not repeated.

Good clip from Cal post game presser, Fox gives us a lot of credit.

Fox is a really good coach...he is getting a lot out of that team with the talent they have. He is doing an excellent job of putting them in position to be competitive and win games.GrantDuck wrote:Good clip from Cal post game presser, Fox gives us a lot of credit.

Probably should be in the discussion for Pac-12 coach of the year.

From the 7:40 mark to the 0:46 mark, we gave up 2 points. And anyone watching the game could tell our D stepped it up big time. Also a lot of our offense during that time, was a result of fast break 3-pointers and putting pressure on Cal's D because our D was so stellar.GrantDuck wrote:Defense was crap today, but we shot well.

Yep the defense and intensity was what won it for Oregon. Granted they got sloppy on the end but the sloppy offense led to Cal's buckets more than bad defense by Oregon. I was impressed with Lawson's defense, he kept getting in 1 on 1 situations guarding quick guards and he didn't let them get anything easy. Lawson really seems to be emerging as the best big man for Oregon.UOducksTK1 wrote:From the 7:40 mark to the 0:46 mark, we gave up 2 points. And probably, off last few games, Duarte is #2. If Dante had remained healthy and developed, this team would be even better.northbeachsf wrote:No. They should just give it to him now.OregonFan4Life wrote:Is it too early to declare Pritchard Pac-12 POY?
