Kelly Graves is going to get in trouble. He's right. They should be using football refs. He's going to make changes in the OL.

PAC officials sorely lacking in some damned thing.duck58 wrote:Kelly Graves is going to get in trouble. He's right. They should be using football refs. He's going to make changes in the OL.

She's always intense, but never seen her lose it before. Someone really needs to review PAC-12 refs.rockthief wrote:Sabrina got smoke coming out of her ears. Awesome player!

When Graves loses his cool we know something is amiss.

So fine when one player picks up her game, or two players even. Shelley has 4 of 4 for 12 points. Boley 4 of 6 threes. Thumbs up.

And Boley is learning to play defense and rebound.

She is, yes. Man I love it. She is getting some good body placement. So is Giomi. Do not mess with these Ducks!duck58 wrote:And Boley is learning to play defense and rebound.

It has definitely been the most time he's been out of his chair the last 4 years.rockthief wrote:When Graves loses his cool we know something is amiss.

Something is very wrong when there are three technical fouls in one game.

I watched the whole game today and the thing that struck out about me is how often they were fouled to the ground. Teams are starting to play very roughly against as a defensive strategy and without officials who get on that BS, things get out of hand with emotions for players or worse.

As long as nobody gets hurt, learning to play in these type of physical battles will help the team in the long run. Facing a team like Baylor in the tourney will require the same type of intensity and toughness. Arizona State's coach is like a slightly younger version of Baylor's coach.

Jaz:
"I think it was a revenge game for us. We knew that we were the better team. We knew we shouldn't have lost that game."
I love it, unapologetic and very candid from Jaz

According to Terry Jonz on post game radio broadcast ASU players made some comments on social media after their first game that didn't sit well with the Oregon team.
