Huge game! I remember what Stanford did to us after we blew them out earlier in the year last season. I think this team knows what's at stake and wins by double digits.

So is Sabrina going to be flying up from LA for this game in the afternoon?

My stat gem for this game is Stanford is 6-1 in games decided by 6 points or less where Oregon is 0-1. Oregon did win a close game against OSU though the final margin was 9 points due to free throws.

The counter to that of course is that Oregon doesn't let hardly anyone get close.

To be Capt Obvious, Erin staying on her tear and Satou finishing on her drives to the basket would make worrying about a close game a non issue.

Edited: Yes Sabrina is. Walked by a TV and saw her speaking at the Kobe memorial in LA this morning.

I think it boils down to which Boley shows up. O-fer or dead-eye.

Yeah, Oregon lost a reasonably close game to Stanford in the 3rd game in 3 days in the Pac-12 Tourney (with banged up roster: 80% Ruthy, no Chavez), after absolutely destroying Stanford on their home court earlier (on normal rest, full roster). People keep referencing Stanford coming back and winning the 2nd match up last year but completely ignore the substantial mitigating facts that played in Stanford favor...

...short of major malfunction, Oregon is not losing on normal rest and a full bench.
Stewart Mandel-"From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I much prefer to watch a good spread-rushing offense over a traditional Power-I offense, and Oregon's has been the most fun by far for the past several years. It's fast, its precise, and when Chip Kelly has the right quarterback (Dixon, Masoli) at the helm, the possibility of someone ripping off a 60-yard run exists on nearly every play."

Ducks are 8.5 point favorites. Pretty huge line, but our ladies have earned it.

THree minumes into second quarter and Ducks up 23-10

Hoping for Chavez to use Ruthie's screen and go for twos.

Kinda sloppy play by both teams as they each have 10 total turnovers.

Half time.

Giomi with a rough start, a TO and a foul. Ducks up by 10 - only taken 22 shots.

Beating a dead horse here, but the women's basketball refs in the Pac-12 shouldn't even be allowed to do high school games. Those last 4 calls were pure bullshit incompetent homer calls you usually only see in high school games. KG was pretty upset about it too going off the court at half.
