I really like this team and its potential. Shame Dante got injured.

Shame they can’t hit the 3 with any consistency.

You could sort of tell this team hasn't played in a while with their up-and-down first half.

Defense and Duarte's shooting have really keyed a run late.
Up 12 with ~2:11 to go.

When the Ducks shoot anywhere close to their normal average, they are a tough team to beat with how they get after it on the defensive end.

Good win, as all are. But of course, I have to bitch. Would love to see more from Duarte earlier in the game in shots and leadership. Altman will have a bevy of wings once Richardson returns, but may have issues with interior defense against bigger teams. Ducks playing small ball may only work in spurts. Like that they have enough length to cover the perimeter, just worried about the inside defense.

E2O putting opposing posts in foul trouble is one of their best defenses against bigger teams right now, otherwise as you say bigger teams can present a big defensive challenge. This is particularly true when you cant punish a big team with outside shooting. Very few teams playing small ball like Oregon are as dependent on inside scoring.Everythingsducky wrote:Good win, as all are. But of course, I have to bitch. Getting Richardson back should really help. He should help get teams out of that 2-3 zone they all are using against the Ducks now and make teams pay for going big-big against the Ducks by providing an outside shooting threat and improve the already good on the ball pressing defense.
