Stanford will be without Daejon Davis, their 2nd-leading scorer.

Figueroa is really struggling. I keep waiting for him to get out of his shooting slump, but it just keeps going.

Absolutely horrendous shooting so far for Oregon. They're just lucky Stanford is not good at hanging onto the ball.

As I feared, against taller teams, they are going to have serious issues. Omaruyi getting smothered. Zero offensive rebounds when they can’t throw it in the ocean. Stanford is simply much bigger inside. Ducks have to hit shots, or they ain’t getting it back. Furds 2nd leading scorer is out too. Small ball works in spurts, not for a season. Dante’s injury put a big-time hurt on them.

32% shooting and 15% from 3 won’t cut it.

They finally hit a 3 at the end to cut it to only a 2-point Stanford lead at half. Hopefully their shooting and execution picks up in the 2nd half.

Oregon will need to take advantage of de Silva being out with 4 fouls.

Kind of a helter-skelter game. Would feel much better with Pritchard in this type of game. Even though Terry doesn’t play a ton, he is missed for ball control. Ducks are undersized against Furd, as they will be much of the season.

Lawson is almost invisible. He hasn’t made the sophomore leap at all. I hope his brother is better than he is. He seemed so promising after last year.

Oregon found the range from three and have finally opened a more comfortable lead.
