Holy last-minute meltdowns, Batman! You can't call timeout to get the ball in? Two turnovers in the last 30 seconds to give a lifeline to the Bruins.

Refs helped with terrible calls helping the Bruins even have a chance.whosyourwally wrote:Less shocked to see them throw this game away with more of the same stupidity at the end of reg.droop10 wrote:Nothing but complaining in this thread. Granted the first foul when Oregon was up 6 was a terrible call by a new official. I had a bad feeling when I saw the players giddy as if the game was over when there was still plenty of time. Play til the finish, don’t celebrate too early. Clearly this team hasn’t been there before.Phalanx wrote:Holy last-minute meltdowns, Batman! You can't call timeout to get the ball in? young and will rich taking turns. like what I see.
defense needs to body up more. overall good defense, but need to put body on guys when they get near 5-6 feet. otherwise too easy to shoot.

Pasche/Walton providing spot-on analysis on Richardson.

why is Richardson not in?!
and what is wrong with Eric Williams? he has changed his shooting form and it's all messed up now. and his effort is spotty.

Hate to say it but Williams could’ve used a strong off-season and just watching him play I don’t think he worked very hard in the off-season, and given that he didn’t progress his offense he seems to struggle at finding his role on this current squad.dd10snoop28 wrote:why is Richardson not in?!

it's in his head. he is a good shooter and tremendous athlete. effort is mental. and changing shooting stroke is also mental.OregonFan4Life wrote:Hate to say it but Williams could’ve used a strong off-season and just watching him play I don’t think he worked very hard in the off-season, and given that he didn’t progress his offense he seems to struggle at finding his role on this current squad.dd10snoop28 wrote:why is Richardson not in?!

I’m shocked! What a win! Apparently playing at the #3 teams goes well for Oregon sports..
This team certainly has a lot to improve on, but what a HUGE win after a poor season so far to hopefully turn things around!

great win! Is it possible the ducks can get together once again in January and go on a run into the tournament? This is a great start.

How’s that going? They did execute the last minute of regulation poorly, but overall played a really good game, though you wouldn’t know it by the comments in here. Played good defense and hit free throws at a better clip.whosyourwally wrote:Less shocked to see them throw this game away with more of the same stupidity at the end of reg.droop10 wrote:Nothing but complaining in this thread. the effort on D looked real good.
also, having confident Will Rich + Young is a deadly combination. the problem is that Will Rich will resort back to tentative self and leave an offensive run by Young. not good.
we still have so many things to fix on both ends. I doubt this team will make the turnaround that other Altman teams are able to make. Not seeing much upside in our transfers this yr, and just generally a lower-iq team.
