Oregon really should not have lost that game with how they started.

This game showed us we’ll go as far as Young takes us. When he’s on, Oregon can beat anyone. When he’s off, Oregon will lose to everyone. Young sets the tone and Richardson seems to follow.

Credit Colorado for hanging around and keeping contact when it looked like Oregon was about to run away with it.

Oregon also allowed CU to stay in the game with some careless/unfortunate play (twice the Ducks either threw the outlet away or couldn't control a rebound after a defensive stop -- leading to two CU buckets and then the unfortunate "own goal" by CG to start the 2nd half).

My biggest worry about this team showed up in the second half: when you need a bucket, who can you call on? Oregon had multiple stretches without a field goal and I don't know if they have that go-to player to stop the opponents' momentum? It was Pritchard in 2020 and Duarte in 2021.

I’ll be interested to see if Altman continues to use the small line up that completely threw Colorado off at the end intermittently throughout the rest of the season. Seemed very effective on defense and no less effective on offense.

Rough game, and I agree on Jacob Young being either a liability or a bonus. Also his 3 point shooting is terrible. Not very helpful for a backcourt guard with little vision.

Looks like Lunardi has us as the very last team in after the loss. We dropped 7 spots in the NET, so basically can't lose between now and the AZ game.

UW just beat CU in Seattle 60-58. Oregon will be kicking themselves for losing at home to the Buffs.

Combine that with USC losing to Stanford, and Oregon's resume definitely is taking a hit. A win over Arizona would be huge.
