Will they have to sit out a year?
Edit: No they will be eligible to play next year. Wow, what a boost for the team!

Amazing pickups for sure, nice to get the gal from Oregon who ducks tried to get out of high school. Playing time will be interesting since they only had 3 seniors and had five or six recruits coming in before these transfers.

What are scholarship amounts for softball? Baseball gets 11.7 and rosters up to 35 (only 27 though can be on scholarship). Softball looks like they roster around 18/19.

Softball gets 12 scholarships that the coaches can divide up however they want, according to this website...uosportsguy01 wrote:What are scholarship amounts for softball? Baseball gets 11.7 and rosters up to 35 (only 27 though can be on scholarship). Softball looks like they roster around 18/19.

"Softball is an equivalency sport which means all scholarships are not full scholarships. For example, in NCAA DI, coaches can divide the value of the 12 scholarships available to them between as many players as they see fit."
