Top of the 11th, 3-3. Oregon's offense has done nothing since that first inning.

poor choice to go to cleavinger in the 9th with the bases loaded. we were up 3-1 still, and we all know by now that cleavinger can't locate a pitch until he sees a batter or two. first batter cleavinger sees, he leaves a ball hovering right over the plate and it scores two. called it the moment cleavinger got called out of the pen. nogosek seemed like the better call.

st. john's will likely win the big east, and may just end up being a top 50 series win for us when all is said and done. good start to the weekend, as I said last week let's get greedy and go for the sweep.

8-6 ducks, top 9.
karraker pitched well, left with a 6-2 lead. paddon loaded the bases with no outs in the 8th, cleavinger came in, K'd his first batter, then allowed a bases-clearing double. game was tied at 6 until chase hit the go-ahead 2-run bomb in the bottom of the inning.
chase a 2B away from the cycle, but hopefully cleavinger can just close it out in the 9th.

Paddon is looking pretty bad to start the season, hopefully he can get it together.
