Oregon @ Cal State Fullerton (Win series 1-0)

Homecoming for Coach Horton. Might get ugly, Fullerton is supposed to be really good this year.

Hopefully the baseball team will be better then the BB team. I can't wait to see what Horton can do with this team after a couple more years!

I expect nothing but improvement from this team with Coach Horton! The first game I can make it to is March 13 DH vs. Seattle. Way too long of a wait!

With a season of Div.1 experience for everyone, they can't possibly be any worse than last year. Plus with a brand new stadium, it should be exciting.

Time for a high, inside pitch to break the monotony.

Can't believe tomorrow is our first game. Pretty sweet.

Re: Oregon @ Cal State Fullerton (Feb 19th 7PM)
Don't quote me, but I believe it'll be on 1320.
Should be a fun game. That #4 ranking in front of Fullerton's name is kind of daunting, but this game is all about pitching and we've got a great arm on the mound tonight.
We were 2-7 against ranked teams last year... both wins coming against #15 Fresno State. UC Irvine was ranked #1 in the country when we played them last year, and we were tied 5-5 in the 7th (lost 9-6) in game one and we were tied 4-4 in the 6th in the second game, before Irvine rallied late and won 7-4.

Re: Oregon @ Cal State Fullerton (Feb 19th 7PM)
I have a feeling that the offense will be vastly improved from last season. The pitching is solid but they really tensed up since they knew they had to pitch an almost perfect game to make up for the lackluster hitting last season.
