This has the potential to get ugly.

Maybe my expectations are too low, but I would be happy just not to get swept.

I agree with you 100% this could end up being an ugly weekend both on and off the field. I just want one win this weekend...more would be even better. This is baseball so anything can happen.

I'm just tired of the OSU fan's talking crap everyday. I would like this team to shut them up!!!

Time will tell...Remember, the glass IS half full....
AND, WE ARE THE OREGON DUCKS....
Considering this is our 1st year back, we have nothing to lose, but EVERYTHING to gain...
We kicked their butts in football, we damn near won at Gill coliseum in BB and did win at the Pit...
If they had a mens track team, we would kick their butts there.....Out cheer squad is hotter (way hotter),
Cross country? Well, let me see, can anyone say National Champions?
And, other than wrestlers and their immediate family members, no one really cares...
Now, lets do our stuff on the Baseball field...

Its kind of funny....Duck fans are getting a lot of crap over the UO bringing back baseball. According to our little brothers at OSU its only because of their National titles. But dose that work both ways? I see that OSU is bringing back Track and Field...They have a women's team currently but they are building a track facility and will be getting a men's team in the next couple of years....Its becuase we have national titles in cross country and Track and field....I just know it!! They want take over as track town usa...I just know it!!

problem was our pitchers can't field or throw to first. only one error was not made by a pitcher.

errors have been killings this baseball team all year. I really hope the coaching staff will get to the bottom of this.

But whats with the OSU fans....as people left PK park last night it was all 'what was uo thinking' 'this team sucks' I'm just tired of osu fans talking all the time. It never ends! I asked a osu friend the other day about the football civil war and he said we needed to stop living in the past...I was really takin back by that, it seems that osu fans always live in the past...example the talk of their baseball championships coming up in every baseball conversation!!

oh well I guess some things will never change......

LETS PLAY BALL....ANyone else getting the rain gear ready for PGE park?

What happens these days with rain and BB games...When is rain, too much rain, resulting in "raining" the game out? Does it depend on the field/condition of the field....or what?
Any ideas if todays game (Saturday) is rained out, when and where it would be rescheduled?
We have tickets for tonights game, but the weather isnt lookin too sweet right about now...lol

Just came to know our seats are covered, as are 90% of the seats (or so the website says).
Kick some Beaver Butt, Ducks......and ..."hey u, another dog and a beer"....

It all depends on the field condition. From what I hear PGE park can hold a lot of water. They can play if the turf is wet as long as they keep the mound and plate in good condition we play ball today. We have tickets but they are in the first couple rows...probobly in one of the few rows that are not covered. I think past the 10th row the cover will protect you from the rain...haven't been to pge in a long time.

Anyway it will be interesting to see. I do think if they dont get the game in tonight they would try after the game on sunday to finish it. I have tickets for that game too, but I think those with tickets today would not get to see that game completed if it is rained out.

I'm guessing that all 18,000 of us will get there and sit in the rain!!!
