We probably won't see Kelly, and may not see some of the others.

According to the article above, Sampson was projected to go 3rd-5th round, Pullin 7th-10th round.

Some don't think Kelly will sign. He wants a lot.

Let's hope he doesn't sign, come to Eugene Kelly!

What are the chances we get this guy? He was projected 7-10th round, and obviously that wasn't anywhere near where he ended up.
And how about the other possible freshman, anyone for sure leaving?

I think he may show up to Oregon now due to where he was picked. The 29th round doesn't exactly pay a whole lot, but there have been other players drafted at that level that sign so you never know which way someone will lean.

sampson and pullin are probably gone.

i would be shocked if irvin didn't wind up in eugene.

housey and aaron jones just depend on whether they're ready to leave school and get paid. housey might get more work next year if thorpe becomes a starter; he could improve his stock. so could jones, if he proves he can be an everyday catcher. but, it's up to them.

did christian jones go completely undrafted?

kelly, that's anyone's guess. that's a lot of money to pass up, but if his family isn't hurting for money (i have no idea) and he wants the college experience, he could become a first rounder in three years. who knows.

I don't think anyone drafted Christian Jones since he's coming off I think Tommy John surgery and teams will wait to see how he's recovered.

i had seen a few mocks that had him going regardless of the surgery. considering his upside, i'm surprised nobody took a flier.

good for us, though.

Pullin had this to say about being drafted when asked by the Centralia Chronicle:
"I'm really excited to be playing with the best now and working my way up," said Pullin. "It's going to be hard playing all the time, but it's what I want to do and I'll just have fun doing it."

Do you think the MLB is ever going to adopt the same rules as the NBA & NFL about taking kids right out of high school?
