hey all this was posted on goducks today

Lots of pitchers and from what I can tell some good hitters, but none with a ton of power. I would like to find a JC guy or two that has some more power!

any thoughts?

Is Christian Jones expected to enter the MLB draft as well? Or is Matzek the only pitcher we will likely lose?

I only ask because Jones had a 0.64 ERA and a 7-1 record. Impressive stats.

If only Matzek would be coming. Apparently he is rising in the MLB draft, and in his last outing he had a 94-96 mph fastball that touched as high as 98 mph......don't sign with whoever drafts you Matzek please, an education is very important. (although he would be stupid to pass up the money)

We are on the 10th pick already, and Matzek hasn't been picked. To you MLB/College baseball fanatics, how often does a HS first round pick end up going back to college?

I'm just wondering if Matzek falls to 15-20 range, is there any chance he decides to come to Oregon?
