Oregon has lost the first two games, 2-1 on Thursday and 4-2 on Friday. Not a great way to end the season.

Oregon loses the finale 3-1 and gets swept for the weekend. Disappointing end to a very uneven season. Horton really needs to address the offense as they are no longer a dominant pitching team and can't solely depend on pitching keeping them in every game.

In general, I'm a Horton "fan", I just think it's time for the program to go a different direction. In my opinion, he's got the foot print out there of Oregon Baseball, now it's time for someone else to come in and put their stamp on the program and take it to the next level.

"Mr. Mullens, Andrew Checketts on line 1".

Time to bring the West Linn native home.

I'm not his biggest fan, and I really think his style just never worked for this team, or university.
We've seen it work, even win a national championship at UCLA for other coaches and teams. But the teams he's had look jr varsity in the plate, not even smart when they swing.
He has one more year in his contract, so he will get next year. I'm assuming they might give him the Ernie Kent treatment and let him stay a year or two longer than he should, and then set a goal like super regionals or he gets shown the door.
