mercer got hit a bit, but we got two dominant outings from acuna and somers. somers, a frosh from century high here in oregon, got his first career start and i’d be shocked if he didn’t pitch himself into the Sunday spot going into conference play next week.
parker kelly got pac 12 and national picture of the week honors. he pitched 6 innings of scoreless relief over two games.
