Will be a tough series, but I think Oregon will pull off the series win.

Basically need to go 2-1 against them to have a chance of winning the Pac 12. The last six games are fairly standard and should all be wins, so it's all-in this weekend!

Ducks need to win out to be Pac-12 champs, as I don't see UCLA losing, but we can hope!

It will be interesting, the Bruins go OOC this weekend then play @ Cal and finish up hosting Arizona State, while the Ducks are @ Washington, host Utah and finish up @ Cal, and of course the Ducks own the tie-breaker with the Bruins.

ducks win 7-2 in 9 innings, D.J. hit a big grand slam. Megan pitched really well, great to get the first game in a huge series.

This is a testament to how good Kleist is, because it was not one of her best performances, giving up 8 hits, but as she has done before, got the outs when she really needed them. The Ducks took the lead in the top of the 5th, 2-1, but a misplayed ball in the outfield, and a passed ball, tied it up for the Huskies. But it all worked out with the grand slam from DJ.

Ducks take the series with the 4-2 second game win. The Ducks took the lead in this one with Jenna Lilley leading off with a single and being brought in on a fielders choice by Gwen Svekis. The Huskies took the lead with their only runs of the game in the bottom of the first on a 2 run homer. In the 4th inning Mia Camuso showed great hustle in running out a hit to first base that was bobbled by the Huskies. Lauren Lindvall came up next and sent it over the center field wall for a 3-2 lead.
Husky errors helped the Ducks score another in the sixth to make it 4-2, setting the stage for the defensive play of the year by the Ducks. Lead off batter for the Huskies walked and the next batter sent a rope down the third base line that would have gone to the wall, except somehow Jenna Lilley caught it and doubled up the runner trying to get back to first. It got interesting in the 7th inning when the Huskies had runners on first & second with one out, but Elish got a strike out and the last chance for the Huskies ended up a pop out to Camuso.
Elish gets the W, 17-1, 7 K's 7 hits and 3 walks.

big time win, Miranda got out of two innings in sixth and seventh with runners on. Jenna with a nice catch and throw to first to get a big double play in the sixth. Nice to get the first two games to win the series, now a sweep tomorrow would be huge!!

One of the best moments of the game was watching Elish as the Jenna play in the 6th was happening and after it was over; she was just jumping for joy, pounding her glove with her fist.

My favorite part was wiping the smile off that obnoxious dawg pitchers face...you can tell all that time they spent as #1 went to their heads.

Sweep!!!!!! Ducks looking real good, hopefully they continue playing like this through the post season! Hopefully they didn’t peak too early, seems like that happened the last couple of season.

Not one of Megan's best game with ten hits allowed, but game timely outs like that double play in the fifth inning. Big clutch two run homer by D.J., huge sweep of the hated huskies!!!
