Some thoughts from the Ducks:

"They came out really aggressive, and I think today we might have come out a little complacent, and expecting to win," UO sophomore outfielder Haley Cruse said. "They came out firing, and we need to come out firing tomorrow."

"I think Miranda's gonna be pretty fired up," White said. "I'm sure all three pitchers are going to be ready to go, if they have to; it's do or die."

"How are we going to bounce back?" White asked rhetorically. "Sure, we had a bad game. But if we want to be national champions and be the No. 1 team in the country, we have to bounce back from this."

"We're prepared for this moment," Svekis said. "In my four years there have been plenty of moments that prepared us for right now. I expect us to come back tomorrow, ready to go."

Easy to get complacent after winning so much, sounds like they learned their lesson the hard way. Very confident Oregon takes the next two and moves on to the CWS.

Can't you save the doom for football to give the sky a break? Falling is hard work...
You get so excited when I post don’t you?

No, actually. It is very predictable on what you will type out. All you have to do is swap the sport and players/coaches names out. You must have templates on hand.

And more importantly, don't hijack the thread. Ya'll can PM each other about it.

Hopefully the ladies bounce back today. I'm pretty confident, like Alan, that they will still win the series.

For some reason when I saw 8:00 PM I figured that was east coast time, just went to tune in to the game for a bit and sure enough it wasn’t on. Darn! I hardly ever have a chance to watch the ladies play so I was happy when I had a short window where I thought I could watch them. Maybe if they make it to the WCWS I’ll be able to watch them sometime.

Seated in centerfield again. Gotta think giving up all those runs last night was a fluke. We'll see.

Ducks win 6-1, force a decisive game three tomorrow evening. Elish pitches a dominant two-hit, no earned runs complete game. Whoever wins tomorrow goes to the eight-team world series tournament next weekend.

That was more like it. Timely hitting, slick fielding, and Elish dominating from the circle.

Thank goodness for Lauren Burke. Even the few times they get her out, she is making great contact. She definitely needs to be a permanent part of the lineup from here on out.

So glad I witnessed a more typical Oregon performance tonight.

Indeed, Lauren Burke is something else this postseason. Love how she goes with the pitch and hits it to the opposite field.

White's got a decision to make for Saturday evening's game . . .
