I have no evidence but I blame Coach White for mentally sabotaging the team. I know that when we make it here we're playing against the best, but it's like the team always forgets that they are also one of the best. They just haven't looked excited for this game at all today.

Only been using two pitchers. Are they tired?

Balint just hasn't been completely healthy this season due to an ongoing back issue so White has had to rely on Elish and Kleist. Plus, most teams typically use only 2 starters with a 3rd pitcher typically being for relief or double-header games.

Honestly, I kinda feel like there’s something he does, like maybe micromanages or puts too much pressure on the team, cause you’re right, yes they play the best but you can see the nerves and lack of confidence. Maybe he talks the opponents up too much, I don’t know. They swept this team at their house and now it looks like they think they’re going against a giant. If Oregon doesn’t make the championship series, it’ll just look like fool’s gold with Oregon.

Oregon is 6-1 in the World Series against teams in their bracket, not making the championship series just looks bad.

Oregon finally on the board but likely too little too late as there's now 2 outs.

Ducks lose 6-2. They'll now face the winner of tomorrow's Georgia-Florida State game at 6:30 PM PST.

Good grief, they made that freshman pitcher look like Jennie Finch out there. Completely fooled by her the whole way, which is strange because it wasn't the first time they have seen her.
Good point by some posters here, it seemed like every batter that came just looked like deer in the headlights and not ready to attack or be excited to be there. Very strange and not a good recipe against HUNGRY teams at the WCWS

And as far as UW copying the Japanese national team defense like the announcers said, they sure do, as those catchers like to clap loud right before the pitch to throw off the batters on where they are setting up. I remember that drove Stacy Nuveman and Krystl Bustos crazy back in the day.

the same freshman pitcher you complain about just shut down Oklahoma, the TWO TIME CHAMPIONS. Sometimes fans over react and can't just give the other team credit. Ya they made a few mistakes, but UW shut the ducks down just like Oklahoma yesterday.
