I guess the pressure to try and prove themselves just absolutely gets to this team during the post season.
They don't look comfortable at all with anything, positioning, hitting, pitching, etc.
Rough way to end a great season.

This can’t happen 5 out of 6 years though, especially in seasons like this where they’re #1. It’s the same thing with different players. I seriously think there is something Mike White is doing that freaks this team out.

Oregon finally gets an out but Sanders throws the ball away to let the runners advance. Sanders has been having an awful postseason, both hitting and fielding.

Granted the opposition is tougher in the WCWS, I agree. It just never seems like they are themselves. I knew this from the first at bat of the game yesterday, Jenna Lilley looked unusually nervous. She got a walk to start but it was still uneasy the entire game for everyone.


But gosh this team is swinging at every ball well out of the strike zone from a conference usa pitcher. They got to help themselves out.

Oregon State series is close, but I do agree, this is the worst I’ve seen this team all season.
