Prediction at the start of practices:

1. Baseball makes a return to the postseason.

2. Horton gets extended.

3. This team is built around its junior class, and they all go pro.

4. Team takes a giant step backwards in 2020, but Horton is extended so he's happy.

Another year to be reminded that we started a Baseball team because we were envious of the Beavers, FFS.

The elephant in the room. Could have kept White with the 2.3 million debt the baseball team ran up last year to try to keep up with beavers. Now we’re going to be lucky to NOT finish last in the Pac in both sports. FFS is spot on.

Well this project never took off, and seem give more misery than excitement for Oregon baseball fans.

The players just never learned to hit. And while pitching stars have come and gone, there's only so much it can do.

Fans have every right to be upset over the direction of the program the last three years but there's no basis to fear a last place finish.

So glad Kilkenny killed the wrestling program, which was providing scholarships to over 90% in-state kids, so we could take on a massive financial loser in baseball.

Baseball loses as much money as softball, why are we paying Horton to do squat, but refusing to even talk to White when Texas offered him the job? Oregon baseball is a joke, built by jealous boosters after OSU won 2 titles.

It's been 10 years. It might be time to get over it.

What's ironic is the first 5 years were actually pretty sweet. Two super regionals, right?

Just the one. Lost to Kent State.

I believe the Kent St. game ended with a Kent St. outfielder catching a line drive to end the game. The year before or after I think the Ducks were up, had the bases loaded, no outs, but failed to score.

What's sad about this is that Horton is paid an enormous amount of money, much more than average, and much for more for the work he has done.
We could have just poached a community college coach for him and they might have done better.
