I really enjoyed watching the team last year but I'm glad I don't have an emotional attachment.
If this were our football team and 44 guys transferred out, I'd be ready to storm the AD's office or something. This is absolutely crushing to our team.

At this point, it just feels like the players see the tough situation the program is in and are deciding not to waste their remaining years in rebuild mode after competing at such an elite level every year previous.

You also wouldn't see apologism for Cristobal like you are seeing apologism for Lombardi.

Crazy, but how is it possible you are calling this a rebuild? Lombardi took over a team with top 5 talent. You keep apologizing for Lombardi though and I think it's crazy.

Re: SB 1B Camuso to Transfer.
These latest transfers are likely related to the R-G story released last week about the AD's possible mishandling of White's contract negotiations and likely the players now wanting to waste their final year or two eligibility on rebuilding.AshlandDuck wrote:lukeyrid13 wrote:I really enjoyed watching the team last year but I'm glad I don't have an emotional attachment.

I think it is comical and I'm not even bothered by it; in fact, I might even prefer if they all just leave so long as the only ones remaining want to be here.duckduckgoose wrote:This is almost getting humorous. ALMOST.pudgejeff wrote:https://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/2019/0 ... ortal.html

This is now so far beyond ludicrous it's not funny. The fact that virtually an entire starting lineup has left is absolutely nuts.
It doesn't matter who is responsible at this point, the program may as well have received the death penalty Oregon's foes were screaming for in football, a few years ago.
The impact is actually as bad, or worse than that, at this moment.

What do you specifically charge Lombardi of doing to fuel this situation?AshlandDuck wrote:greenyellow wrote:At this point, it just feels like the players see the tough situation the program is in and are deciding not to waste their remaining years in rebuild mode after competing at such an elite level every year previous.

This always a Duck thing is lame to me. I think players just say it.

Good point, in deciding to not be a Duck her last two seasons it is a disingenuous thing to say.rockthief wrote:This always a Duck thing is lame to me. I think players just say it.
