Assuming the girls don't take themselves mentally out of this tourney, I think it's reasonable to hope fro 2-2 or 3-1 for the weekend.

fixed :D I hope they continue to improve. Tough lineup so I guess realistically 1-3. Would be great to go 2-2, outstanding 3-1.

Honestly if they continue to press while at bat, they could realistically go 3-1. That LSU game though, just dont see that one going our way.

Getting two runs against LSU would be an accomplishment not equaled so far this season.

if dail is hitting her spots, we can beat kentucky. cats have a great program -- we've met them each of the last two years in the super regionals -- but they did not have a particularly good opening weekend, nor were they picked to finish in the top half of the sec. that said, the sec is probably the best conference in the nation these days.

lsu, as said, will be an incredibly tall order. we're also probably not good enough to consider the other two teams in this tournament "easy wins" even though they aren't big name schools.

LSU run ruled Bucknell, Iowa, and Tulsa 2x each. Hardly top flight competition. I think we are better than any of those. I still think we have a tough one there. Two wins would be a good weekend. Any more would be great.

ducks up 3-0 top first, with two on and one. LSU took their pitcher out already

Nice job getting out of the inning. Dail threw a lot of pitches. Worrying about her tiring.

Oregon has now doubled the previous number of runs allowed by LSU this season... 4-1 in the top of the third.

Anyone else thinking some of the bail outs by departed players may have been a little premature?

Easily a tad premature. I can see where Balint would be concerned about the catching since the catchers do give up quite a few passed balls (although some of the pitches haven't been great), but having her and Dail to go along with this still potent offense would have kept Oregon in the top half of the conference.

Dail gets out a bases loaded, no out jam in the B4 by getting two fly outs and a strikeout with no runs allowed. Still 4-1 Ducks.
