Next season should yield a fuller narrative about the Lombardi transition. It seems like there are hard feelings from some quarters.
However, reinforcements are coming...

FALL 2019
https://goducks.com/news/2018/11/14/sof ... ruits.aspx
Ariel Carlson, P-1B, Marist player sticking with Oregon
Makenna Kliethermes, P-1B
Deijah Pangilinan, OF

Vallery Wong, C-UTL
Terra McGowan, C, also will be eligible for next season.

Verbals who went elsewhere after White left:
Alyssa Pinto, INF, Ole Miss
Grace Green, P-1B, Oklahoma
Kelsey Hall, OF, Fresno St

This database is astonishing! It seems to be largely accurate.

FALL 2020:
Alyssa Brito, UTL
Hanna Delgado, INF
Reagan Breedlove, P-1B
Tehya Bird, P-SS

Abby Doerr, C is headed to Alabama according to Meeks' article?!
More confirmation Doerr haeding to Bama...

2+ years out:
Micaela Macario, INF, '21
Paige Sinicki, INF, '21

D'uana Johnson, P, '22
Viviana Martinez, INF, '22

Many other players have stopped publicly stating a commitment to Oregon.
All of the above seem, to some degree, to be sticking with Lombardi.

If this talent arrives in Eugene, Oregon should see a huge rebound.
The limited pitching was an obvious issue, but a longer lineup may have scored enough for a few more wins.

Better days ahead. Go Ducks!

Interesting article. Maybe there will be a "30 on 30" movie about the coaching change years from now. The team played hard this season, and can actually start making some progress next season.
