Rodriguez and Hambright need to start hitting, or it will soon be time to drop them in the order.

Hambright has been a disappointment, but at least Roddy is getting on base (.308). Hambright has only been on base .250duckgrad99 wrote:Rodriguez and Hambright need to start hitting, or it will soon be time to drop them in the order.

IMO start Eshleman at catcher and move Eddy Roddy to first base. That would be ideal. Eshleman is hitting good.

Gotta tighten up the defense as well. This game was very reminiscent of several duck losses from last season.

Clean up the errors & the ridiculous amount of walks & this game isn't close. They're still young & will be a lot better by seasons end than they are now.

Re: Oregon @ Hawaii (4 Game Series)
Try to split this series, and go back home with a 5-3 road record. That's fantastic.
KC Serna is a monster. Another 3 hits today. He's hitting over .500.

Pretty sad we only have 3 hits off an average pitcher at best.

Honestly, it's going to be another long season if these guys cannot get the bats going. Just about every pac-10 team is probably better than Hawaii.

That was pretty pathetic. Didn't we recruit some power guys in this class?

That game felt a lot like last year, couldn't buy a hit. Hopefully it doesn't continue or its gonna be another long year.

Just remember... The Ducks are in Hawaii, which always seems to screw with the performance of any Oregon team that makes the trip.

Looks like today's game is canceled due to weather, per Goducks.com. May play DH tomorrow.
