If they can keep up the hitting and pitching and limit their errors, they might be a contender for a spot in the upper division in the Pac-10.

Making these kind of strides this early? Scary
I hope I can catch some games, are they only on CSN?

I think they are. Down here in Eugene, they show some of the games on the local Fox and MyNetworkTV channels.dd10snoop28 wrote:Making these kind of strides this early? Scary

It's a great start, but keep in mind that the pac-10 is loaded. The true test for this team will be league play.

Pretty amazing considering. This team looks A LOT better than last years so far. When you replace 4-5 starters with new recruits, you know you're building some great depth. That will be the difference this year IMO.

Amazing things happen when you get a coach that actually knows what he is doing. A big thank you needs to go out to Kilkenny for bringing in Horton.

Best hire he could have made. No matter how much people disliked him, Kilkenny set the athletic department on a path for future success and financial stability.RHDuck wrote:Amazing things happen when you get a coach that actually knows what he is doing. No, just the wrestlers & their two fans. I was a huge PK fan & was hoping he'd stay our AD for a long time. Dude got stuff done.Tray Dub wrote:Did people really dislike Kilkenny that much?greenyellow wrote:Best hire he could have made. So, okay - we made the Top 25 (remarkable, IMO) - and promptly lose the first two to Hawai'i and fall out of the rankings - my first reaction was "no worries, mate - it isn't like it's the last time we'll ever be ranked." - Just one of those "quiet confidence" things - no braggadocio - no posturing.

I do believe Wrestling had a larger fan base than Tennis & Golf, yet they did not get cut.dthomas=ddixon wrote:No, just the wrestlers & their two fans. I know we still need Golf so we have somebody around to pick which Football Unis to wear each week.

Didn't know that since they don't really get any publicity, except for like Casey Martin. He's doing a good job if the team is ranked #6 right now.cordy02c wrote:Don't know if this is widely known but men's golf is ranked 6th in the country
