Re: Seattle @ Oregon (4 game series)
That's a good question. He's amazing, but he doesn't have overwhelming stuff. He just knows how to pitch. There's always a place at the next level for a guy with his impeccable control and cerebral mind, but it's tough to say where he'll go in the draft. I'm sure guys with better stuff but worse stats (the "potential" pitchers) will go before him.duckgrad99 wrote:How high will Anderson be picked in next year's draft? Good win, especially after all of the chaos today.

"Jeremiah Masoli took home the game's offensive most outstanding player award and then broke into song. Kidding."

I know this is against Seattle, but how good has our pitching been? Tyler Anderson pitched one of his best games so far as a duck. Thornton with 10ks and 0 walks to go 3-0 on the year. LaTempa, we all know can pitch, gets his first win in a 6 inning shutout.

I was there for both games, 2nd row to the left of home plate... Wow. Being that close is pretty amazing. Thorton's pitches would dissapear when they left his hand & immediately reapear in Eddie's glove haha. What a beautiful park & what a great young team. These kids can really play. I know it was just Seattle but I don't care. Just a great time but WE NEED MORE FANS!!! The place was barely half full. If we get that place packed it would be so much better. Tickets are cheap too, $11 for SECOND ROW .

Our SS/2B went 0-8 with an error from Pulfer. I don't like Danny hitting #1, and definitely prefer him at second, but with KC injured looks like we didn't have much choice.greenyellow wrote:Really missed his bat at the top of the order.duckgrad99 wrote:Ducks lose 6-4. Not having Serna hurt.
OH well. 3-1 is still solid.
Keudell with his first loss of the season.
