Looks like the ducks won game 2 5-2 in 7 innings for some reason. Going for the 4 game sweep tommorow!

Game 2 was only scheduled for 7 innings. Oregon now improves its record 15-6. Very impressive stuff, msny props to coach Horton.

Ducks are starting to look legit. I don't want to get to excited before we play a single pac-10 game, but this non conference has exceeded my expectations so far. Great job.

Totally agree with you TK1, I figured that it would take at least 3 years for us to be able to compete with the top of the Pac-10 but with the way the guys are playing right now it looks like they could hang with anybody.

To be at 15-6 in just our second year is incredible. The 3 game series with USA/ESPN's #1 ASU (19-0) at ASU next weekend will be a huge test to see just how far we've come.

I think we have Arizona (who is very good at 15-4) next weekend. ASU should be the week after.

Ducks seem much improved over last season. The hitting is much more consistent and they are now hitting for power. The pitching staff also seems much more stable and deeper than last season. To already have as many wins as all of last year means that Horton has the team and program going in the right direction.

Either Oregon is really improved or Nevada stinks because that was some series by the ducks. I expect pac-10 play to be much tougher, but we'll see.

Horton said that Nevada was a good hitting team, so it has to be either or since the Wolfpack never really got anything going except for the first game of doubleheader yesterday. The Pac-10 schedule will definitely show how much this team has improved.

How ridiculous is our pitching? I hope it stays this way into Pac-10 play..

Earned run avg
Keudell, Alex (4-1) 1.40
LaTempa, Justin (2-1) 1.59
Anderson, Tyler (4-1) 1.60
McGough, Scott (3-0) 1.69
Thornton, Zack (3-0) 4.30
