Game 1: W 5-4 (W McGough)
Game 2: W 8-4 (W LaTempa)
Game 3: L 1-5 (L Keudell)

Would be happy to get one game.

This might get ugly, UCLA overall is probably the best team in the country, Their pitching staff is unbelievable, I'd be happy with 1 win

I believe all three of UCLA's starters were first round MLB draft picks who chose to go to school. That's insanity. Pray that we get to the bullpen within striking distance... I mean, the bullpen is good, too, but their starters are unreal. Best chance for a win has to be Friday... all three of their starters are #1 material, and Anderson is the only thing we've got that can compete with that.

1 win in a series against UCLA would be an accomplishment.

Yeah I think you might be right. I know for sure Gerrit Cole was a 1st rounder, he was drafted by the yankees and turned down the money, and now many people believe that he has the best arm of any pitcher in the country.

Is there any chance of these games being televised?

Do you throw Anderson in the 3rd game with a slightly better shot at the W?

Nah. Last year with Stavert, yes, when we would have welcomed gimmicks. This year, no.

Here's hoping we can give another #1 ranked team their first loss of the season. Anything beyond that would be unbelievable!

Then I guess this means Oregon needs to win 2, just to make it another first.

UCLA has the #1 team ERA in the country, Oregon is #3. If we limit our walks this weekend it should be three low scoring games in a row. I loved how Kuedall pitched @ Stanford last Saturday after two shaky starts against the Zona schools.

Didn't realize UO was #3. That's impressive. Where do both teams stand on offense?
