The Beavs are looking like crap against Wazzu so hopefully they don't wake up against Oregon. If Anderson is pitching this game, then I don't give the Beavs much of a chance.

Anderson won't pitch this is not a league game so he will throw against wsu. My guess is probably Boer or Mcgough will probably start

Yep. Thornton seems to be our top midweek guy, but with him pitching so many innings today, McGough will probably get the call. He didn't pitch that much in game two.cordy02c wrote:Anderson won't pitch this is not a league game so he will throw against wsu. My guess is probably Boer or Mcgough will probably start

Thornton or McGough are good enough to get us a win against the Beavs. It's so nice to have so many arms that Horton could literally replace his whole normal rotation and still get some wins.oregontrack wrote:Yep. Re: Oregon State @ Oregon (1 game series)
Interesting choice. Housey hasn't started a game, but he does have 14 appearances (15.3 IP) and a 1.15 ERA. He doesn't tend to go more than a couple of innings, so we'll see how long he's able to stay effective.
The guy OSU is sending out has an ERA in the high 5 range. Hopefully we can get some run support for Housey.
Is anyone going to be watching on TV and able to post frequent updates?? I won't be home or near a computer, but I'll have my phone on me and checking the score frequently...

Todays Red Guard article says Boer will lkely start. He'd be a better choice IMO, since he's actually started before. Housey usually doesn't pitch more than 2 innings at a time. Tyler Waldron is pretty talented, just must not be pitching well this year.

On the mound, Oregon is expected to start sophomore righthander Madison Boer (2-1, 3.75 ERA), and OSU will counter with junior right-hander Tyler Waldron (3-3, 5.94).

Good stuff, I was going off the Oregonian article from yesterday, but shame on me for taking something written in the paper as gospel. I'd definitely trust your Guard link.
Boer scares the hell out of me. He has good relief appearances every once in awhile, and he was able to pad some stats in that Southern Utah game, but he's really struggled as a starter. I hope Jones or McGough (or Housey, naturally) are ready to go.

I checked JustinTv and a couple other sites and couldn't find one. Let me know if you do because I'd love to see them play (doesn't happen in PA).Biggus Duckus wrote:Is there a live stream anywhere on the internet?

Not the best fielder, but makes up for it with his bat. In fact, he just hit a single, we need our offense to get rolling.Brophdog88 wrote:Serna error on first at bat...
