guys on 2nd and 3rd with one out. Just need a hit!
Even a sacrifice would have worked. That was a tough loss. They let that one get away.

This loss was entirely on the coaching staff. They left Anderson out there way too long at 115+ pitches. He then got shelled into the gap twice. Even then they left him in. Only relieved him after he lost the lead.

When you have a 2-0 lead late in the ball game you have to carefully monitor the effectiveness of the pitching and have a quicker hook with such a fragile lead. Anderson was obviously laboring. Relieving him at 2-2 on the board was like pissing on the ashes after the barn burned down.

I never thought I would care so much about a college baseball loss, that's how fun it's been to follow the team this season. I just want to finish strong and make the regionals. At this point, not making it would be very disappointing.

Shades of last year... very anti-clutch performance, which is rare these days. Hopefully LaTempa and Thornton can get it done.

You ass, you're not supposed to say he's got a no hitter going.

(I'm kidding. You're not an ass. But you're really not supposed to jinx a pitcher like that.)

He lost his no-hit big in the 8th, but he's one batter away from a complete game 1 hitter. He's been amazing.

Not a bad outing for LaTempa. The Ducks just need a win tomorrow to win the series.

Great way to bounce back from the loss. Let's take 2 out of 3. We can still finish in second place. Amazing.
